The Quranicus Project is a dedicated scholarly initiative committed to the preservation, digitization, and academic study of Qurʾānic manuscripts in Pakistan. Many rare and historically significant manuscripts remain scattered in private collections, mosques, madrasas, and libraries across the country. Without proper preservation and digital documentation, these invaluable treasures of Islamic heritage risk deterioration and permanent loss.
Quranicus.pk is currently the only private research initiative in Pakistan focusing exclusively on the systematic study, preservation, and digitization of Qurʾānic manuscripts. Through this project, we aim to safeguard this sacred intellectual heritage for scholars, students, and future generations.
Our Mission
With your generous support, the Quranicus Project seeks to:
- Preserve rare Qurʾānic manuscripts through professional digitization and archival methods.
- Establish a physical research workstation where scholars can study and analyze manuscripts.
- Develop a specialized research library dedicated to Qurʾānic studies, manuscript studies, and Islamic scholarship.
- Provide research stipends to emerging scholars and researchers working in the field of Qurʾānic manuscripts.
- Acquire essential equipment such as high-resolution scanners, cameras, storage systems, and preservation tools required for digitization and documentation.
